It’s no secret that securing institutional funding for shutting down the war machine is difficult. From governments to foundations to family funds, many funders in the philanthropy world have their fingers in some form of militarism and either wouldn’t support our work because of this conflict, or we wouldn’t accept funding from them so as not to signal even implicit support of their financial entanglements with militarism, the suppression of civil liberties, or the destruction of our planet (among other things).
This is why we are a people-powered grassroots movement. It’s people like you who help us shift our global reliance on violence so that we can all live collectively in a world rooted in a just and sustainable peace. Making a financial contribution is a critical way to support this work, and we are forever grateful.
