I think you deserve to know exactly why I am asking for a $3.50 contribution and what that donation will help accomplish. So I've put together an outline of our flagship projects for 2022. Here's a rough breakdown of our climate campaigns:

| Fossil Free Federal Reserve | Building on the launch of our campaign targeting the US Federal Reserve, we will pressure financial regulators and institutions throughout the US to end the financing of fossil fuel projects and make green, climate-friendly investments, in line with international agreements. |
| Ending Fossil Fuel Finance at the global level | In 2022, we will strengthen our regional and cross-regional fossil fuel finance campaigns to create global pressure on world leaders. Our network of 500 local groups and regional teams will target key banks and financial institutions regionally and internationally so we can cut off the financial flows to the fossil fuel industry. |
| Vaca Muerta | Vaca Muerta is a massive oil and gas field in Argentina that has been under siege by the fracking industry – including European oil giants such as Shell and Total. Fracking in Vaca Muerta causes massive harm to local communities and land. Contamination of air, water and soil has had a devastating impact on farmers in the region, destroying their livelihoods because they can’t grow or sell their crops, while also posing a serious threat to human health. 350 will shed light on how it is being exploited and bring movement-led momentum in 2022 to support local groups, partners and allies on the ground. |
| East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline | Increased public pressure on the banks and insurers backing the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline project has strong potential to stop the project and the $3 billion project finance loan it needs to proceed. Current coalition efforts have led to getting 10 out of 21 financial institutions involved to distance themselves from it. By sharing widely with 350 global communities and partners, we could see potential wins in the near future. |
I know that a $3.50 contribution may not seem like enough to defeat the fossil fuel industry. But when thousands and thousands of supporters donate around the world — we can finance these campaigns in a matter of weeks.
Because unlike our opponents in the fossil fuel industry — who have unlimited amounts of money to fund their destructive projects — our global climate movement is financed one single contribution at a time.
Meeting this goal will help build our climate campaigns to stop disastrous fossil fuel projects all over the world — and it would mean so much if you made your first donation to our organization to help us get there.
