Greetings in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
The Bishop Search Committee of the Diocese of Virginia is pleased to announce that the Diocesan Profile is available for review.
The Diocese of Virginia now invites qualified candidates to discern whether God may be calling them to serve as the XIV Bishop of Virginia. The Search Committee also invites Episcopalians to dedicate time in prayer and meditation to discern what the Holy Spirit calls the Diocese of Virginia to be and do in order to further God’s kingdom of love and light in our world, our communities and our congregations.
Together with our next Bishop Diocesan and guided by the Holy Spirit, we will move into God’s intended future with boldness, hope and grace. God bless those who enter into discernment with us. God bless us all as we prepare to turn the page to the next chapter of our history for the sake of a world so in need of God’s great love.
