John,
Earlier this month, it was reported by the Detroit News that far-right candidate for governor Kevin Rinke allegedly maintained a toxic workplace environment rife with racial slurs and derogatory comments about women.
Rinke allegedly said, “Women should not be allowed to work in public... They are ignorant and stupid.”
Kevin Rinke has shown that Michiganders can’t trust him to put them first when he couldn’t be bothered to do that in his own business.
We can’t have an extremist with a history of racist, sexist comments become Michigan’s next governor, and that's why we’re fighting back hard to win this tight race. Join us in fighting back by making a contribution of $5 or whatever you can today.

Make no mistake, John, Rinke has given us clear evidence on the campaign trail that he will govern as an extremist. And while we’re doing everything we can to win, Rinke said in the past that he’s planning to self-fund his campaign for governor, starting with an initial investment of $10 million. We can’t have an extremist buying this election, and that’s why we’re relying on our grassroots team to help us fight back.
We need to raise $100,000 in December to stay on track to combat the special interest spending. Will you help us get there by contributing $5 today?
Thank you,
Team Whitmer
