John,
The January 6 Commission is investigating what
happened during the insurrection, and they just unearthed some
unsettling evidence. A powerpoint presentation with dozens of
pages on how to overturn the results of the 2020 election was
sent to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows the day before
the insurrection.
Not only that, the author of the presentation met
with Meadows and other Republican officials more than ten times
to advise them on strategies to change the outcome.
The presentation recommended strategies such as
having Mike Pence reject or replace electors, or declaring a
national security emergency and having National Guard troops and
U.S. Marshals “secure” and count paper ballots from certain
states.
More and more evidence is showing that Donald
Trump and everyone in his orbit was willing and eager to overturn
a free and fair election in America. If that happened in any
other country, we’d be sounding the alarm.
We can’t let them get back into power. As Trump
readies to run again in 2024, we need to strengthen our position
in Georgia. Will you pitch in today so we can protect democracy
in America?
