If you’re in the Denver area, you may have seen the latest wave of dark money attack ads against Michael currently flooding the airwaves.

A dark money group associated with big drug companies just spent six-figures on TV ads attacking Michael for fighting to make prescription drug prices more affordable.

For years, Michael has been working to allow Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices, and now that he’s continuing to fight to lower prescription drug costs, powerful corporate special interests are attacking Michael.

The truth is, this is possible because of the broken campaign finance system, created by Citizens United, that allows big corporations to spend unlimited amounts of money to influence our elections.

Michael has had enough. That’s why he’s fighting to overturn Citizens United and crack down on dark money in politics, and it’s why he doesn’t take a cent from corporate PACs or federal lobbyists.

In the meantime, this attack ad is just one of many that dark money groups will level against Michael as the midterms get closer, and we need to be prepared with the resources necessary to fight back. So, we’re stepping up our fundraising goal for the rest of the year and need your help.
