Team —
Today marks the 65th anniversary of the end of the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Coordinated by the NAACP, the MBB was a social protest against the policy of racial segregation on the public transit system in Montgomery, Alabama.
Freedom fighters and revolutionaries put everything -- their jobs, safety, and dignity -- on the line to demand equality and justice, and their sacrifice led to a Supreme Court case that ruled segregation unconstitutional.
Change doesn't happen overnight, team. The MBB lasted more than a year, and like our ancestors before us, we know that what might seem impossible to some is only the next opportunity calling.
We plan to register even more Black voters in 2022, but our Vote To Live Campaign is facing an uphill battle. If you're ready to start organizing NOW to make sure our voices are heard loud and clear in the midterms, add your name to join our 2022 Vote To Live Team.

The promise of our democracy is that our government would be for the people and of the people. But that's only possible when every American can vote with ease and without fear. We plan to keep fighting until the promise of our democracy is realized.
