Can you believe it? Today is Election Day! As a reminder, polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. If you have questions about your specific polling location, please visit the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections website. Also, if you or someone you know needs assistance getting to the polls, please call the North Carolina Democratic Party at 704-525-5843 to schedule a ride. 

 

I’ll be visiting polling sites throughout the day and hope to see you out there! After the polls close, we'll be gathering at Sweet Lew's BBQ at 923 Belmont Avenue beginning at 7:00 p.m. to watch the election results. All are invited to attend. 

 

Together, we can continue to fight for affordable housing, good-paying jobs and better transportation. With your vote, I’ll continue to help make Charlotte a more equitable city.
