Earlier this month, my friend Stacey Abrams announced that she was running for Governor of Georgia, and I couldn't be more excited to support her campaign.

In 2018, Stacey ran for Governor of Georgia against then Secretary of State, Brian Kemp, losing by just half a point.

While political pundits wrote Georgia off as a solidly red state, Stacey never stopped fighting for Georgians. She dedicated herself to protecting voting rights and turning out historically underrepresented communities across Georgia.

Thanks to her hard work, Georgia's voters turned out in record numbers, electing Senators Ossoff and Warnock and securing a Democratic majority in the Senate.

But since Senator Ossoff and Senator Warnock's historic wins this year, Georgia's Republican-led legislature has doubled down on restricting access to the ballot box by putting forth anti-democratic legislation to cement Republican control in 2022.

We can't allow this to happen. With Republicans attacking the fundamental right to vote, it's never been more important to elect Stacey Abrams as Georgia's governor. But winning in Georgia isn't going to be easy, and it isn't going to be cheap. Republicans are prepared to spend millions to keep the governor's seat red. If we're going to elect Stacey, we're going to need an army of grassroots supporters.
