Hey John, it's Luke, Jamaal's Campaign Manager.
As 2022 rushes towards us, many of us might be feeling uneasy about the road ahead and what's to come not only for our campaign, but for our progressive movement as a whole.
The good news is that 2022 is looking bright for our grassroots movement. With so many opportunities to overcome obstacles, fight for our values, and instill change in our government and our communities, we're looking forward to what's in store for us in the new year. And we're beyond grateful to have supporters like you standing with us as we continue to support Jamaal and fight for our collective progressive vision.
As we work toward the FEC fundraising deadline at the end of this month, we'll need all the support we can get to ensure our momentum continues to grow:
In just a few weeks, in 2022, we're going to need to be ready for all that's to come in our very first re-election year.
We will be dealing with the after-effects of new redistricting maps that could reshape our outreach and organizing efforts before the 2022 elections.
All the while, we'll need to be focused on mobilizing and organizing our grassroots base to prepare our campaign for Jamaal's re-election. Jamaal already has a challenger in the race, and there's likely to be even more challengers in our near future. We'll need to ensure that our team has the resources, tools, and funds to continue reaching out to potential voters and sharing our progressive campaign with those who may not know Jamaal just yet.
We have a lot of work to do in 2022. But our grassroots movement has proven to the establishment time and again that when we set our sights on a goal, we can achieve it.
Onward together,
Luke Hayes, Campaign Manager
Bowman for Congress
