Hi there -- I normally wouldn’t reach out during the busy holiday season, but these next few days are critical for our campaign.

Next month, the Tennessee Republican legislature will release our state's new district maps. And they will likely divide Nashville 3 or 4 ways, totally chopping up our district into pieces and casting our island of blue into the surrounding sea of Trump red.

This means Nashville’s representatives could be from Clarksville, Murfreesboro, Cookeville, or even South Pittsburgh. Do you think they will care about Nashville’s interests? I wouldn’t bet on it.

The state legislature already advanced a plan to eliminate five Democrats in the Tennessee House of Representatives. But they’re keeping their congressional map secret until the last minute.

Folks, Tennesseans are waking up to this Republican power grab, but time is running out. In just eleven days, we'll close the books on our fundraising for 2021. No matter what the new maps look like, I’m running - and we’re sure to have an expensive campaign against us.
