As we are sure you know, the conservative majority on the Supreme Court - including Trump's three illegitimate, hyper-partisan appointees - have made it clear that they plan on reversing fifty years of precedent by overturning Roe v. Wade in 2022 and eliminating the right to choose.

When that happens, abortion will be practically banned in more than 20 states run by Republicans.

More than 80% of Americans agree with us: a woman should have the right to make her own choices about her body, because it's a matter of health care access, human rights, and social justice. Republicans believe "my body, my choice" matters when it comes to simple public health measures like wearing masks or getting vaccinated against the still-raging pandemic, but erroneously believe the state should determine whether or not women can have safe, reliable access to reproductive care.

That is why Gerry was so proud to co-sponsor and vote for the Women's Health Protection Act in September, which would enshrine Roe v. Wade in federal law.

But - like a lot of critical legislation - the Senate has not taken action to defend reproductive rights and a woman's right to choose. That is why we are asking you to join us in telling the US Senate: Pass a Law to Protect Abortion Rights Nationwide! [[link removed]]
