Yesterday, Joe Manchin said he could not support the President's popular
Build Back Better Act.
When Manchin says he’d vote "no," he’s saying "no" to universal pre-K,
paid leave, affordable child care, fighting climate change, Medicare
expansion, affordable housing, lower prescription drug costs, home care,
and immigration reform. He’s saying "no" to what people across America
want, need, and deserve.
Build Back Better is the Democratic agenda. It’s President Biden’s agenda.
It’s what we promised people throughout this country. Voters delivered us
the House, Senate, and White House to deliver for them. Joe Manchin and
the Senate can’t turn their backs on these urgent issues. It’s bad policy
and it’s bad politics.

Build Back Better and the popular policies in this bill. Can you help
Pramila redouble her efforts to fight for the people with a donation of
$3 today?

Pramila fought tirelessly for the President’s agenda in the House, even as
corporate lobbyists tried to stop Build Back Better. Thanks to her
leadership, Democrats were able to pass it through the House last month
with our progressive priorities included. And Pramila’s fight to make the
largest investment in working people, families, and our communities in
decades continues no matter how tough it gets or how much money they spend
against us.
We cannot allow our Democratic majorities to go without passing Build Back
Better. Pramila knows it and the people know it. Too much is at stake.
[ [link removed] ]Can
you help fuel our work to keep the pressure on and protect our progressive
wins in the Build Back Better Act with a $3 donation today? We have to
keep up our fight, and by chipping in today, you would be making a huge
contribution to this critical work.
In solidarity,
Team Jayapal
