National Domestic Workers Alliance
============================
GOAL: $25,000
DEADLINE: MIDNIGHT, 12/31
John — in the final days of 2021, here’s where things stand:
The BAD: the pandemic continues to highlight one disappointing truth: mothers who do the essential work of caring for our families and homes are still being left behind, unable to care for their own families.
The GOOD: We are SO SO close to winning a once-in-a-generation set of social policies for working families, including an unprecedented investment in home and community-based services through the Build Back Better bill.
WHAT'S NEXT: We are furiously pulling out all the stops in our advocacy and organizing to ensure it passes in the Senate. But we also know that our work does not end with the passage of one bill. Addressing the unjust realities domestic workers face every day requires bold, innovative solutions , long-term investments, and turn-on-a-dime rapid response activism, and your support is key .
Thanks to a generous donor, every donation between now and DECEMBER 31 will be DOUBLED by a matching contribution until we reach our goal.
So please ,John, make a critically needed donation to NDWA and our work to support home care workers, nannies, and housecleaners and it will go 2X as far.

From our first ever Care Summit, where our members led conversations that included Vice President Kamala Harris, to celebrating the passage of Build Back Better in the House, everything we’ve been able to achieve this year is a testament to the resilience and strength of the domestic workers who drive our movement.
Still, for as far as we’ve come, we have an enormous amount of work to do to meet the extraordinary potential of this moment, and guard against the many threats to our domestic worker members, our values, and our vision for the future of our country .
This is a crucible moment for our movement, our members, and our team – and as we dig in to get across the finish line, we would be so honored and thankful if you'd support our vital work with a donation .
Can you make a gift today to support NDWA as we fight on multiple fronts for the people who care for us? Please don't wait: today your gift goes 2x as far, but our matching gift expires DECEMBER 31.

As we begin to rebuild from the devastating impact of the pandemic, we believe that we have a unique opportunity to create an economy and democracy that works for all of us. I am so grateful that supporters like you will help us get there.
Thank you, so much, for everything you do.
In gratitude,
Ai-jen Poo, Executive Director
