Today is my annual holiday food drive, and right now, my team and I are out in Pennington, Alabama distributing food from 11 am until we run out. Last year, we were able to deliver over 2,500 boxes of food, and I’m betting we can top that this year!

In the spirit of the holidays, we are coming together to do what we can to address hunger within our district.

Even before the start of the pandemic, many families in the Black Belt dealt with food insecurity. Alabama’s hard-working families shouldn’t have to worry about where their next meal will come from.

Providing this service to Alabama's 7th District is the direct result of your contributions to my campaign and year-round support — so I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for being a part of this team.

Days like today remind me that alone we can do so little — but together, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.
