Hi there,

Our petition urging the U.S. to protect bees and ban bee-killing pesticides has over 12,000 signatures, but I still don’t see your name.

Here’s your custom link to sign: [link removed]

American bumblebee populations have already dropped by 89 percent, which is why I had to reach out personally one final time.

Adding the American bumblebee to the endangered species act and banning bee-killing pesticides in the U.S. could be critical to rebuilding global bee populations and protecting our children’s health for generations to come. But we can’t keep the pressure on the government without your help.

In case you missed it, here’s your personal petition link: [link removed]

Grateful to have your support in this fight,

Maura Walsh

Friend –

Here’s what you need to know about bees:

1. Bees are dying at an alarming rate. American bumblebee populations have already dropped by 89 percent and have entirely disappeared in eight states, according to a recent study.
2. 4 million pounds of bee-killing neonic pesticides are dumped on American farmland each year.
3. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife service is considering protecting the American bumblebee and other bees under the endangered species act. But we need your help to protect these essential pollinators.

Bees need your help, friend, but I don’t see your name on our petition yet. Take a look:

Bees are essential pollinators and are responsible for one-third of our food supply. Their rapid decline is already hampering production of key food crops, such as apples, blueberries and cherries.

The EU banned these harmful chemicals years ago. But the U.S. hasn’t taken action to protect bees, despite the fact the most common uses of bee-killing neonics offer little benefit to farmers! It’s time for the U.S. to follow suit.

Add your name to EWG’s petition! Urge the U.S. to protect bees and ban bee-killing pesticides now!

Thanks for your support, friend.
