Hi, it’s Congressman Adam Schiff. I wanted to make sure you heard from me before the FEC deadline about why Mikie Sherrill’s race is so important. Not only for the future of New Jersey, but for our country and democracy.

Democrats are hard at work trying to rebuild our country from the pandemic and we’re doing it by making transformative investments in people, the middle class, infrastructure, and our children. And we’re just getting started.

Everything we’ve accomplished in the House this year has been possible because of Mikie’s leadership and others. That’s why I need to ask: Will you support Mikie’s re-election campaign before the final FEC deadline of the year?

Mikie was integral to getting the bipartisan infrastructure deal over the finish line so we can fix and upgrade our roads, bridges, and transit. That includes advancing the Gateway Tunnel Project for New Jersey commuters, a vital project in his community. And create millions of good-paying jobs across America along the way.

And Mikie played a key role in shaping the reconciliation package – and passing it through the House – so we can improve access to child care and make it more affordable for working parents, and deliver tax relief to middle-class families in New Jersey and across the country.

Mikie has been fighting for New Jerseyans since her very first day in Congress, and we can’t afford to lose her leadership in the House. We just can’t.

But Mikie is facing a tough fight for re-election. There are eight opponents vying for her seat, and she's one of Washington Republicans’ biggest targets for 2022. Outside groups already spent nearly a million dollars attacking Mikie. We need to fight back.

The final FEC deadline of the year is only a couple of days away, and Mikie really needs our help to make sure her campaign can withstand the dark money and attacks. Please consider chipping into her campaign before midnight on December 31st.
