Gamaliel's Civil Rights of Immigrants Campaign invites you a Posada for a Complete Inclusive Immigration Reform before Christmas Day. A posada is a celebration in Lantinx and Hispanic Christian communities that commemorates Mary and Joseph's search for a place to stay the night Jesus was born.

The value of providing refuge to those in need is held across religions, and so we want to use this posada to call for Complete Inclusive Immigration Reform. We want our Members of Congress to think of all the immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers before they go home to celebrate with their families. Immigrants cannot be both essential and deportable. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, millions of undocumented immigrants have risked their lives and the lives of their loved ones to promote the health, safety, and prosperity of all Americans. Permanent protections are long-overdue and are critical for the country’s continued health response and economic recovery, and our efforts to rebuild our communities’ infrastructure.

We ask for: justice; equity; an end to Title 42; and a path to citizenship.
