As we close 2021, we want to thank you for helping build a stronger labor movement and increase the power of working people.

Thanks to your advocacy, California enacted some of the strongest COVID protections in the nation, we defeated a right-wing campaign to recall our governor and built worker power through contract and organizing victories. California also passed historic laws that will lead to more protections for workers and more organizing opportunities for all unions.

We couldn’t be more proud to build California's labor movement with you. As we look ahead to 2022, we always think about how we can build power through organizing politically, legislatively and at the workplace. We’ll continue to make worker health and safety a top priority as the pandemic rages on, including an expansion of COVID paid sick leave.

Next year’s elections will be pivotal to strengthening worker power with important ballot measures and state and congressional races. As a movement, we will once again lead the way to big victories for workers at the ballot box.

2022 is going to be such a busy year for all of us, but we hope you’ll have time with your loved ones and reflect on the incredible work you’ve done for California’s labor movement. From all of us at the Federation, Happy Holidays.
