The withdrawal from Afghanistan was a disaster that left Americans and our allies abandoned, emboldened our enemies, and made our country less safe.
Hi Friend,
It hasn’t even been half a year since President Biden hastily pulled American troops out of Afghanistan, to the sheer horror and embarrassment of all those watching on the world’s stage.

But President Biden’s sloppy withdrawal from Afghanistan has already had devastating impacts near and far… and far and wide.

His exit strategy was chaotic, haphazard, and hasty. It was an utter disaster. ([link removed])
STOP THE RECKLESS POLICIES ([link removed])
It not only affected our brave service members and Gold Star families, but also those Afghans, such as interpreters, who risked their lives to aid our troops and were promised the hope of a better life in America… only to be left behind, their fate at stake.

It also affected the Afghan women and girls who finally had a chance to get an education and a job the last 20 years… but are now being brutalized, abused, and denied their basic humanity, dignity, and liberty.

People are literally starving in the streets, because there’s not enough food to eat or even supplies to sell. The growing humanitarian crisis is causing parents to sell off their children to pay for food, while young girls are being taken from their families as child brides.

But to President Biden, this was a success. A success?! If his administration thinks this is a success, I would hate to see what they view as a failure.

By all accounts, it was an abject failure. And we must hold them accountable.

>> I appreciate the work Independent Women’s Forum has done to elevate this issue, and so many more, and to fight for the dignity, opportunity, and liberty of all women.

But they need your support before their critical end-of-year deadline so they can continue to make an impact on the issues in 2022. ([link removed])

IWF is focused on the facts—not the fringe issues. They are focused on the policies—not the politics. And they are focused on solutions—not chatter.

They have had tremendous impacts throughout 2021, and I know we can count on them to carry the torch in 2022.

Please consider making a donation to IWF before year end. ([link removed])

Thank you,

Senator Joni Ernst
