Dear John,
As we approach the celebration of our Savior’s birth this week, we want to invite you to share in a wonderful opportunity to make this Christmas extra special for a child with an incarcerated parent. We’re thrilled to report that we are very close to providing a gift and the Gospel on behalf of incarcerated parents of more than 235,000 children this Christmas. While we’ve seen an abundance of churches stepping up this year, we have a few more children left to serve. We want to invite you to close the gap! Please go to

I would like to take a moment to thank you for your continued support of Prison Fellowship. This has been a year to remember! We have seen the Lord work in amazing ways over the past 12 months, and you have been a part of making all of it possible. As we shared in our most recent

annual report , we would love for you to join us in celebrating what the Lord has done!
-
Thanks to the generosity of Prison Fellowship supporters, we’ve distributed more than 100,000 Inside Journal Life Recovery Bibles in English and Spanish to prisons across the country! In addition, with the help of Richard Glau, faith-based services manager for the GEO Group, 750 Bibles have been donated to the Everglade Youth Academy, a maximum-security facility in Florida for people as young as 13. Still more Bibles will be given to additional youth facilities throughout the Sunshine State. We praise Jesus that His Word continues to reach through prison bars, bringing hope to all who need it!
- Our team has also brought the joy of the Lord to prisons through hundreds of Hope Events we’ve hosted throughout the country. In December alone, we held 40 Christmas Hope Events, all within prison walls, to celebrate the birth of our Savior. Glory be to God!
- Despite ongoing staffing and COVID-19 challenges that resulted in complete shut-downs last year, as of this writing we’ve reopened 79 Prison Fellowship Academy sites, so that restorative communities built on the Values of Good Citizenship can continue to change lives and generations through the transformative work of the Gospel.
- We graduated another fantastic group of leaders from the Warden Exchange this year. Their dedication to transforming prisons is awe-inspiring, and we are so excited to watch the changes this stellar group of corrections professionals will make as they implement all they’ve learned through this culture-changing program.
- Our advocacy team remains hard at work for justice that restores at both the federal and state levels. We celebrated our most impactful Second Chance Month in 2021 and are already prepping to make even bigger strides this April.
This is just a small sampling of what we’ve seen the Lord do through your faithful

Thank you for being a part of our family! I pray that you and yours have a very merry Christmas!
Celebrating Him,
