In 2021, my team and I have continued to work hard at the Capitol. I've led bill packages regarding climate resilience and preventing flooding in our neighborhoods, domestic violence and protecting survivors from gun violence, port infrastructure investments, housing justice, and much more. We recently passed legislation regarding community crisis response and have bipartisan bills moving through the legislative process on sexual assault prevention as well as asbestos abatement contracting.

I am proud of being able to get things done in a bipartisan way while remaining unafraid to stand up for equity, access, opportunity, and justice. I will keep working hard for the kinds of solutions I know Michiganders deserve.

My next election may be my most challenging one yet -- with new district lines, I will very likely have a lot of new territory to cover with a lot of residents who aren't yet familiar with my track record of hard work. Reaching every voter multiple times means we'll need to print a lot of material for our ambitious field plan and send numerous mail pieces. This is why I need your financial support.
