This is absolutely appalling, friends: Education Secretary Betsy DeVos was recently held in contempt of court for flagrantly ignoring a federal judge's court order, just to harm students defrauded by shady for-profit colleges.

Think about that for a moment: Our secretary of education disobeyed a U.S. court of law's legally binding order so she could cause more harm to students who had been defrauded.

It's been clear since day one that Betsy DeVos is wrong for our students. She's tried to slash funding for education and even rolled back civil rights protections for students with disabilities.

What she's doing right now could harm an entire generation of students, so I'm fighting as hard as I can to protect our public schools – and I want to know what you think of the job she's doing. I'm asking 187 more people to tell me right now:

Do you approve of Betsy DeVos?

Thank you,

Jeanne
