This is how we elect and reelect Dem AGs across the country next year.
Friend,
To say that 2022 is an important election year would be a massive understatement: The very future of our democratic system, our reproductive rights, the end of the pandemic, and the world’s climate are all on the ballot when voters head to the polls next year.
But here’s the good news: DAGA has won more than two-thirds of our targeted races since 2016, and we made it happen through:
A dedicated process of reaching out to voters early.
Investing in new strategies to get people to vote.
Preparing campaigns, early and often, for a brutal election season.
Team, to maximize these strategies, we need to fund these programs as early as possible.
So today, we’re kicking off our Incumbent Protection Fund, to make sure we have the resources to elect and protect our current slate of Democratic AGs who are putting our communities over politics.
In 2022, we have at least five incumbents to protect in battleground states, including Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, and Colorado. In 2018, we were able to flip four AG seats blue, and all four of those AGs are now on the ballot again this year. We created the Incumbent Protection Fund to help keep all of these incumbents – and more – in their seats, fighting for our communities.
With more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in the midterms next year, these elections aren’t going to be easy. We can keep these seats blue and keep our Dem AGs fighting for our communities, but we need your help to get there.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, we need your support – will you chip in today?
