The truth is, I didn’t know what to expect. I wasn’t sure if people understood the threat and the need for action. Turns out, they did...

Thanks to them, and another 220,000+ people who donated later, we built the largest people-powered campaign California has ever seen. And we win.

Now we have a new mission: re-election. And I am here to tell you that NOTHING is guaranteed. The stakes are too high to do anything less than take this seriously. Can you imagine California with a far-right Republican governor during These Times?
