It’s critical we send an undeniable message about the strength of our progressive, anti-racist movement.
Hi John,
We recently relaunched our office in St. Louis to serve as the official HQ for Cori's re-election campaign. But we've been so busy getting this campaign off the ground, that we've barely had any time to get our office up and running — and to be honest with you, there’s a long list of expenses we need to fund to operate our HQ and ensure we have the best organizing program.
Here are some examples of our expenses:
- Canvassing supplies like clipboards, pens, and stickers
- Printer ink so we can print and send out mailers about Cori’s work and priorities in Congress
- Gas so we can drive to every neighborhood in Missouri's 1st District to help #GetOutTheVote
- Trainings for our volunteers so they can run phone banks and engage in real, direct conversations with voters about the issues our communities face
- Campaign signs so we can show the strength of our movement on sidewalks across the district
We can’t emphasize enough how much it would help our campaign if you chip in $21.42 (that’s our average donation) or even just $5. Every dollar you give goes toward these expenses in our budget and powers Cori's work in Congress.
Chip in $21.42
Last year, we shocked the establishment and defeated a 20-year incumbent thanks to the power of this community. Every $3, $5, or $10 donation went directly to knocking on more doors and reaching out to more voters than ever before.
Now, we need to defend Cori's seat against far-right mega-donors, so we're counting on this grassroots team to step up again. Our final end-of-quarter deadline of 2021 is quickly approaching, and it’s critical we send an undeniable message about the strength of our progressive, anti-racist movement.
Even just a contribution of $21.42 to match our average donation could cover a couple clipboards and pens, so every dollar matters. Please, John, will you chip in today to directly fund our expenses and help us build the campaign it'll take to re-elect the first activist from the movement in defense of Black lives to Congress?
Thank you,
Team Cori
