We send a number of emails. Probably more than most of your friends and family. So we want to ask for a moment to explain why these messages are so important.

Here is the truth:

When Mandela made the decision to reject corporate PAC contributions, he knew that we were leaving a lot of money on the table. That’s fine.

The bet we made was that we could fill that gap with lots and lots of people contributing small amounts of money.

It’s worked. But what you may not know is that a huge number of the contributions to Mandela’s campaign come in response to emails like this.

So when you see Mandela rising in the polls, and when you see CNN say Wisconsin is one of the most likely seats to flip in 2022, it’s emails like this that make it possible.

But that means from time-to-time we have to ask. And with our official FEC deadline just days away, today is one of those days. So we’re asking:

Can you please make a contribution to Mandela Barnes’ campaign for Senate before our FEC fundraising deadline ends and we’re legally required to report our fundraising numbers?
