Our lawmakers and public figures are beginning to realise that bad information has consequences.

Just this week, a public health lecturer publicly apologised and corrected their incorrect claims on Sky News about Covid hospitalisations following a Full Fact fact check. Sky News subsequently made an on-air correction.

They’ve helped us push back against politicians who have brought false claims into Parliament, and reach tens of millions of people with accurate information.
