While I was serving in Afghanistan, I survived two Taliban assassination attempts – a car bomb and a suicide bomb.

In those moments, I saw firsthand why it is so important for us to eradicate the Taliban. But, instead, Joe Biden has empowered them and abandoned our allies in the region.

All of this is happening at the same time that the number of veterans serving in Congress is at a historic low. There are simply not enough veterans in office to fight back against Joe Biden’s mistakes.

That brings me to my opponent Katie Porter. You may know her as the Elizabeth Warren protege famous for leading the far-left progressive caucus. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez even called her the “funniest member of Congress” as a result of her partisan stunts.

But what you may not know is that Porter cheered on Joe Biden as he withdrew from Afghanistan, resulting in the deaths of U.S. service members.

There’s nothing funny about that.
