Here's how you can help.

Dear Friends,

The holidays are upon us. And while many of us are busy with the hustle and bustle of the season's festivities, there are veterans, service members, and military families that do not feel the joy of the season.

Many are struggling all alone with feelings of hopelessness...

As supporters of the military-connected community, we may not always be aware of the struggles that plague our nation's heroes. The invisible wounds left from the battlefield are often impossible for outsiders to glimpse.

However— by collectively and proactively sharing resources, we can help our heroes know that they are not alone.

As part of our vision to ensure military, wounded military, veterans, and their families have access to needed community resources and support, we have put together a list of resources that can be shared with anyone who may need the support.

Please, as we finish out another year that has come with its own unique challenges, share a simple message with all of the military and veteran members in your life to ensure they know that they are not alone.

Here are some ways that you can support the military-connected individuals in your life:

Reach out. They may not be ready to talk about it yet, but let them know you are there for them whenever they are ready.Connect them to Resources. There are many organizations that can help to provide support specifically for the unique challenges our military and veterans face. Click here to see our list of organizations, events, and other resources that will help them cope. [[link removed]]Do not hesitate to call for help.
