Hi John, it's Abby again. I don't have much time – but I wanted to reach out to you quickly and say thank you for your support over the last several months as we work to defeat Sen. Chuck Grassley (R). I've been reflecting on the past year and I'm struck by how much we've accomplished.

Thanks to people like you believing in my campaign, we've created unprecedented grassroots momentum to flip this seat blue. Now, Sen. Grassley is facing record-high disapproval ratings, and even Iowa's most famous pollster is pointing to real "weakness" in his polling numbers. We've never been closer to defeating him and winning real leadership for working families like my own.

So sincerely, John, thank you so, so much for believing in me and this campaign.

But we're not across the finish line yet. As of the latest finance reports, the campaign arm of the Senate Republicans has nearly $30 million in the bank to protect vulnerable incumbents like Sen. Grassley and take back the Senate. That's a lot to compete against, but as someone who has won an election against a man double my age and flipped a House seat from red to blue, I'm not one to back down from a challenge. But we've got to keep up our grassroots momentum and ensure we have the resources to compete and win.
