Despicable, friend.

Earlier this year, the EPA finally banned brain-damaging chlorpyrifos, but now Big Ag and some lawmakers are trying to keep this toxic pesticide on our produce.

More than 30 members of Congress recently wrote a letter to the EPA asking the agency to reconsider its decision on chlorpyrifos. EWG analysis found these members received nearly $300,000 from Big Ag in the past two election cycles.

Big Ag is trying to buy its way out of the chlorpyrifos ban! It’s despicable, and we can’t let them get away with it. Chlorpyrifos can harm children’s developing brains, even in small doses.

EWG is setting our priorities for 2022, and we need your input. Please take our quick survey to help us formulate our plans. We need your help to take on Big Ag again and keep toxic chlorpyrifos off our food.
