John,
We’re closing the books on 2021 in less than two weeks. 😲 That means locking in our priorities for 2022, and setting the budget to support those priorities, too.
So we crunched the numbers, and landed on $100,000 as our goal to raise by the end of the month.
But here’s the catch: it's always tougher to raise in an "off year" like 2021. And while we believe there are no off years, we're definitely running a little behind compared to this same time in 2020. If we’re going to hit our goal — which is a real and ambitious one — then we’ll need a big surge down the home stretch.
That’s where you come in, John. Can you contribute $3 or more to help the Working Families Party elect more WFP champions in 2022?

The truth is, WFP has always been proud of our ability to punch above our weight. We’re able to hold Congress accountable and build a bench of progressive leaders at every level of government despite having a smaller budget than many organizations. That’s because of you.
When we set these ambitious fundraising goals, we know that a strong surge of grassroots support can help us reach our target. But that surge needs to start now.
Chip in $3 as we approach this critical 2021 deadline. After a really busy fall, we need to make up some ground if we’re going to hit this goal.
The coming days are important for us. Whether we can hit our end-of-year fundraising goal or not will set the tone — and budget — for the start of 2022. Thank you for giving what you can today.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
