Threats from the Trump Administration have presented an increased demand for CLASP to tap its public interest law roots by partnering with legal advocacy organizations to support litigation with amicus curie briefs. Recently, CLASP helped lead amicus briefs in three cases challenging the Trump Administration’s relentless attacks on immigrant families.

Comments on the Implementation of the Fair Housing Act’s Disparate Impact Standard |
HUD's proposal to strip the Fair Housing Act of its disparate impact standard should be rescinded. If implemented, the rule would make it harder to demonstrate discrimination in financing, home buying, and renting—enlarging disparities in homeownership, income, and wealth for communities of color and other protected classes.
