John, after looking over our budget numbers, it appears that meeting our fundraising goal before tonight's deadline is going to be a challenge.
It's essential that we don't fall short. After all, we know that the media and the corporations that own them are desperate to drag the Democratic Party back toward right-wing corporate policies that help billionaires and hurt working Americans.
After all the progress we’ve made improving the policy platform of the Democratic party, we can't afford to move backwards. And, with progressive candidates like Bernie running for office around the country, we now have a real chance to make ideas like Medicare for All and college for all realities.
