Sonia Chang-Diaz is defending a newly appointed staffer on her campaign for the governor’s seat who is pictured in his Twitter profile wearing a hat inscribed with the anti-police protest slogan “ACAB,” drawing criticism from police unions and state Republicans alike." Meanwhile, another prominent Democrat reportedly considering a gubernatorial run has gone on record comparing the nonstop riots that engulfed American cities during the summer of 2020 to forest fires. According to Democrat Attorney General Maura Healey, white Antifa activists burning down entire blocks of Black-owned businesses is permissible because "that's how forests grow."
