I’m asking for a minute of your time, and maybe a small donation. Please give me a moment to explain: [[link removed]]

Our mid-month fundraising is at midnight tonight, and unfortunately we still haven’t hit our goal. I know that my team has been emailing about it all week.

I know that these emails pile up, and I’m truly sorry for that. But we have so much at stake for this deadline.

If we don’t hit this goal, we won’t be on track to hit our overall quarterly goal. At the end of this month, all of our fundraising numbers will be made public. Everyone -- and I mean everyone -- will use that number to determine the strength of our campaign.

So this is where I have to ask: I know you’re one of my best supporters. Can you chip in $5 to my campaign today? [[link removed]]

Here’s what’s at stake: My opponent is a dangerous Capitol Insurrectionist. He was on the grounds of the Capitol on January 6th, and has been endorsed by Donald Trump.

If he is elected, he will take us backwards on civil liberties and civil rights.

Look, I promise that I will continue the progress we’ve made on these issues and fight for you and your family.

But first, I need your help. Derrick Van Orden has raised over $1,000,000, and plans to use every penny to defeat me.

The strength of our campaign depends on you. Can you stand with me and chip in $5 before tonight’s deadline? [[link removed]]

Thanks for your support,

Brad
