Since I took office, the filibuster has been used to kill bills that protect the right to vote THREE TIMES. Meanwhile, states across the country continue to pass undemocratic voter suppression laws.

Enough. It’s time to change the filibuster to protect voting rights.

When I first got to the Senate, we set out to end the partisan gridlock in Washington and find common sense solutions to our nation’s biggest issues, and I am proud of the progress we have made working across the aisle over the past year.

Some issues, however, should not be partisan. Plain and simple.

I refuse to stand down while our democracy hangs in the balance. The Senate must pass legislation protecting the right to vote, and I support changing the filibuster to get it done.

If you’re with me, add your name to my petition demanding the Senate change the filibuster and pass legislation protecting the right to vote immediately.

Democracy is not a spectator sport, and we can’t wait any longer to take action to protect it.
