Membership Alert: New York Film Academy Scholarship Opportunity Dear Members, This is a reminder to our members who are parents of high school seniors about a scholarship opportunity that's been offered to dependents of LAPPL members. The New York Film Academy College of Visual and Performing Arts is offering a full-tuition college scholarship to a qualified college-bound junior or senior for the Fall 2022 term. This student must be a dependent of a Los Angeles Police Protective League member (lieutenant rank and below, active or retired) who has held continuous membership in the League for more than one year prior to the dependent’s application. One scholarship will be awarded for a Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Filmmaking, Acting for Film, Photography, Screenwriting, Producing, Game Design, or 3D Animation and Visual Effects.
