Hey there,
In case you didn’t know, tomorrow is Election Day in cities and states across the country. And after another year of political inaction, we *need* your vote to ensure that we elect leaders who are ready to end the gun violence epidemic.

Local elections may not seem important when there are so many other, bigger things going on in the political world -- like the looming 2020 election. But that isn’t true. Local officials have the power to enact legislation -- including gun violence prevention legislation -- that the federal government hasn’t passed yet. Plus, the NRA is putting A LOT of money into states with statewide elections this year -- like nearly $300,000 JUST in Virginia. [[link removed]]
No elections in your area? Make sure you’re registered to vote in the next one! [[link removed]]
The bottom line is that your vote matters, whether it’s on a local or federal level. One of the best ways to make a difference is to vote for leaders who want to take down the corrupt NRA, pass gun safety legislation, and make this country a safer place for everyone. It’s time we show the NRA that their blood money can’t beat the voice of the people.
Thanks,
David Hogg
