I hate to bother you before the holidays, but I want to reach out because we are approaching a big end of year deadline.

This was my seventh year serving as the People’s Lawyer, and we continue to take on some of the most powerful institutions in the country on your behalf. We’ve taken on the NRA for victims of gun violence, Exxon Mobil to protect our climate, and the Sacklers and Purdue Pharma on behalf of the families devastated by the opioid crisis.

We’ve accomplished a lot in 2021, but there is still so much more to do. Will you make a contribution by the end of the year to help support the work ahead?

For me, though, it’s never been about just taking on big fights, it’s about solving the big problems.

Right now, this is a moment to solve those big problems and bring fundamental change to Massachusetts. To bring people together to act on child care. On climate. On education. On jobs. On racial justice. We can bring big change to this state – and it will take each of us to make it happen.

So I’m asking you to stand with me yet again and chip in to help us meet our end of year fundraising goal of $100,000. These funds are crucial to fueling our work in 2022. It’s an ambitious goal, but Team Healey has never let me down before. Let’s do this!
