Tell the U.S. Senate:
“The American people pay the highest prices for healthcare of any advanced country. Lower healthcare costs, including prescription drug prices, by passing the Build Back Better Act.”

John,
Worried about rising costs? There’s something the U.S. Senate can do right now.
Instead of the American people continuing to pay the highest prices for prescription drugs in the world, the Senate can act to finally allow Medicare to negotiate some drug prices with the greedy pharmaceutical industry, limit the price of drugs under Medicare to the rate of inflation, and place a cap on certain life-saving medications such as insulin.[1]
We can strengthen and expand Medicare to include hearing coverage.
We can lower health insurance premiums through the Affordable Care Act, close the Medicaid coverage gap and expand healthcare access to 2.2 million low-income Americans, pass the first-ever federal paid family and medical leave program, and invest in home- and community-based care for the aging and people with disabilities.
All of these historic investments would be fully paid for by cutting the costs that Medicare pays drug corporations for medicines and by making the rich and corporations pay a fairer share of taxes.
Write to your U.S. senators right now and demand a vote on the Build Back Better Act to lower healthcare costs for millions of Americans.
Every day that passes, Big Pharma, Big Insurance and other corporate interests seek to derail these critical investments in the American people. They continue to enjoy record profits while we pay the highest prices for healthcare of any comparable country.[2]
Now, we have the chance to make healthcare more affordable for millions of seniors and working people. Take action today! Write to your U.S. senators and demand they pass the Build Back Better Act to lower out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.
Thank you for fighting for this agenda for working people, which is paid for by making the rich and corporations start paying their fair share.
