Los Angeles is home to thousands of nonprofits. The Giving List team consulted with leaders across philanthropy, financial services, and philanthropic advising to determine which organizations should be highlighted - and we are delighted to have made the list. 

The narrative will lead you to a description of our fundraising needs as we close 2021 and move into the New Year. ARC aims to end mass incarceration and works to make our justice system fairer and more equitable. We provide various services to currently and formerly incarcerated people, and undertake policy work to drive long-term, systemic change. System-impacted people and their needs are at the forefront of everything we do, and a key part of our success is uplifting and elevating formerly incarcerated people.
