John,

There are just a couple weeks left in 2021. And while our whole team is looking forward to taking a big breath and spending time with our loved ones, I wanted to take a moment and share an important truth with you: Our movement is NOT slowing down.

With your help, we have trained over 5,000 Democratic women since our founding – and more than 1,100 of those alums are serving in elected office today. And our win rate in elections nationwide – across all levels of government – just keeps rising.

Why? Because Emerge knows how to run the right candidates, in the right places, at the right times. Because we understand that people all over the country are ready to elevate Black, Brown, Indigenous, and LGBTQ+ women, women of color, young women, and unmarried women to positions of real leadership. Because these are women who have already been doing the work to build safer, healthier, more prosperous communities for all of us – and it is time to honor their effectiveness with our electoral power.

We know that you’re on our team, John. Now we’re counting on you to take the next step and help us start the new year strong. I'm personally asking: Will you give $5 or more now to help Emerge elect strong Democratic women up and down the ballot in 2022?

We are excited, committed, and ready to partner with you to elect strong Democratic women in the new year. We are fired up about recruiting, training, and supporting women in the New American Majority from their first Emerge training to the campaign trail and beyond. And we are walking into the new year sure in the knowledge that our sisterhood will lift as we climb – transforming politics at every level and putting power in service of our communities.

Here’s why your support matters so much right now: 2022 will be a battle for the direction of this country. Forty-six states will have state legislature races next year. Thirty-six states will vote for governor. And one-third of the seats in the U.S. Senate and the full U.S. House of Representatives are up for election. We have a critical year ahead – and we need to reach, run, and uplift the right candidates so they can help turn this country around.

And we simply can't succeed without your help, John. I wouldn't ask if it weren't important: Will you give $5 or more now to help Emerge elect strong Democratic women up and down the ballot in 2022?

We are so proud of this sisterhood, John. Thank you so much for your support.

Emerge is a national organization working to recruit, train, and get Democratic women elected across the country, and we are so grateful to have you on our team. Our alums are strong voices for Democratic values — and they are running up and down the ballot to fight for working families. They are fighting for critical issues that affect our communities, such as the environment, accessible and affordable health care, social justice, and education equity. We need more alums fighting for us across the country.

You may notice that we send a lot of emails asking for your support — that’s because we win when everyone does what they can to help. Our organization depends on thousands of actual people who care about our democracy and want to see positive change in our communities and across our country by building power through investing in Democratic women. If you’d like to donate, click here.
