Our work isn't possible without your support No images? Click here John, I could not be prouder of the work that WCV, our community, and you have done to continue to build on the Evergreen Future Platform this year. We used it as a tool to push elected officials to take up equitable, environmental policy during legislative session and a clear guide for what we expect from local environmental champions we endorsed and supported during election season. This kind of engagement and work would not be possible without your support. We endorsed over 54 candidates for local elections this November. Whether they won or lost this group has bold plans for environmental action and environmental justice and we are excited to work alongside them and the rest of the environmental community to put those plans into action. Local champions like Kim Harless in Vancouver, Barry Buchanan in Whatcom county, and Danny Herrera in Yakima won their races and we are looking forward to the work they will be leading in 2022. These candidates could not have engaged in dynamic campaigns if not for the support of members and activists like you. We need to continue to elect leaders like them next year. Give now and make sure we can continue a legacy of supporting strong environmental champions. 2022 is a big election year with critical races for the State House and Senate. It is imperative we elect the kinds of leaders who will take urgent action on climate policies and environmental priorities, and understand the intersections of equity and environmental justice. With your help, we can bolster leaders from frontline communities who have the experience and understanding to tackle issues head on and work to protect all of our communities and lands. Your donation will make sure environmental leaders will have the support and accountability needed to make a lasting impact. Give now to get ready for a 2022 that is ready for change!
