My family taught me the value of public service and community-building
when I was a little girl.
Every Halloween, my mother would walk with me, my brother and sisters in
our neighborhood collecting coins for UNICEF. Every coin we collected in
the orange collection carton helped a child in need.

I started my business in 1987 with the mission to help solve my
client's problems and contribute back to the community. I donate a
portion of every project to a non-profit and I have a second business
dedicated to raising money and awareness for animal rescue
organizations.
I named my second business
**Village of Hearts** because this is who we are as a community. We are
guided by our heart when we share a smile with a stranger or extend our
hand to help a neighbor.
This year my heart guided me as I volunteered with: United Food Bank,
Special Olympics, Ability 360, Ahwatukee/Tempe Democrats collected food
and supplies for the Kyrene Resource Center and passed out water for the
people in Phoenix.
I held a water drive for The Society of St. Vincent De Paul and filled
my car with blankets to donate to the Maricopa County Animal Care and
Control shelter.

Love, generosity, and goodness are the ideals I aspire to during the
