Meanwhile, Marco Rubio opposes any new government spending to save Americans from being gunned down in his home state. When asked why, Rubio repeats the lie that gun safety laws don't save lives while he pockets millions from the NRA. The NRA gives Marco Rubio an A+.
If Val Demings defeats Rubio, Democrats will expand our Senate Majority and we'll pass progressive legislation to make America safer. Demings will pass common-sense gun control, defend abortion rights, and expand childcare. But if Demings loses, Rubio spends another six years in the Senate and Democrats lose our Senate Majority, handing control back to Mitch McConnell.
We are doing absolutely everything we can to elect Val Demings, but Demings is still behind by two points and today we're once again over $1,000 away from hitting our crucial daily fundraising goal. If we can't raise the money by midnight tonight, we'll have to scale back our plans in Florida. Rubio wins again.
