This month in the House, Democrats have continued to pass legislation to strengthen our country, protect our democracy and address the debt limit. We're doing the work.

We passed the bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 that will reauthorize critical defense programs and ensure our military remains safe and effective. We also passed legislation to prevent end-of-year cuts to Medicare that would have negatively impacted frontline hospitals and doctors. That bill also addressed the debt limit and helped us avoid an economic crisis if we had defaulted on our debt.

Also this week, the House passed the important Protecting Our Democracy Act. This bill will uphold the Constitution, ensure those serving in the highest offices in our country are held accountable for abuses of power and protect our elections from foreign interference.

We've accomplished all of this, yet still have more to do. As we come to the end of 2021, will you chip in to support my re-election campaign so I can continue my work next year?
