Well . . . yet another chapter begins today. I'm back in New Hampshire.

I am here for what I am told is a “real” fall, and we will see how this South Carolinian takes the temperatures that come with it! This will be a more lengthy stay and so I look forward to the many conversations that will come from people across this state.

It's most unfortunate that we can’t have this discussion of where we go next on debt and spending at home in South Carolina, but it means the voters of New Hampshire will have the chance to send a signal to the rest of the country on these fronts. In essence my campaign represents a proxy for whether or not we should stay on the path we are now on. Do we want spending as part of the debate? Are debts and deficits of the scale we now face dangerous to our way of life and our Republic? Is the debt’s increase of $100 million an hour ok?

No. We can’t. We shouldn't. It leads to a financial storm of ruinous proportion. I’ve yelled it from the mountain top. And this has been the point of the campaign from day one . . . that we have to have debt and spending as part of the national presidential debate this year. Is it not in anyone's best interest to stay on our current course. I know that to the core of my being. What's happening now with our nation's debt is not conservative prudent or wise - and is destined for disaster…

. . . and so I will begin my efforts again this week here in New Hampshire. It has gotten that much harder to get any message out with the omnipresence of impeachment . . . but this is today’s battlefield. I will keep you posted over the week as I see how it goes!

As I frequently do, I also circle back and again ask for your help. It's important and whether with $100, $50 or $25 ([link removed]) . . . it all adds up in helping to pay for our efforts to wake people up, create conversation and change things.
