Last week’s Channel 4 Dispatches documentary Vaccine Wars: Truth About Pfizer was a must-watch.

It's a brilliant summary of almost everything we’ve been saying in our People’s Vaccine campaign. It shows how this single pharma giant has been carrying out what one US doctor called “war profiteering” during the pandemic, how it’s costing lives in the global south, and how it’s prolonging the pandemic for everyone.

The documentary is 30 minutes long and you can still watch it on the Channel 4 website for the next 24 days:

While here in the UK many of us are waiting to see if the Omicron variant will put paid to our Christmas plans, this documentary lifts the lid on how one of the world’s biggest corporations has been exploiting the pandemic to make extraordinary profits from a vaccine which it refuses to even licence to other willing manufacturers.

In these tough times, watching this programme gave me inspiration to continue with our work campaigning for equitable global vaccine access. I would go as far as to say that every Global Justice Now supporter should watch it!
